A Monthly Report from the Spring Valley Freedom Lodge

To our esteemed members, partners, and supporters,
As July concludes, it brings with it a decisive shift in momentum at the Freedom Lodge. This past month stands as a turning point—marked by remarkable growth, strategic refinement, and an undeniable cultural evolution within our community.
We have expanded our occupancy, launched new service offerings, hosted our most successful event to date, and positioned the Lodge as an emerging force for cultural and entrepreneurial development in the Greater Waco area. As we continue forward, our foundation has been strengthened—our mission sharpened.

July Highlights
Property Optimization & Grounds Management
Executed a full-scale internal and external property clean-up.
Thanks to Lodge brother Pedro’s donation of a dump trailer, we removed over 1,000 lbs. of accumulated waste—clearing the path for new development.
Housing & Community Capacity
Achieved maximum residential occupancy with the onboarding of Brother Jimy to the Lodge camper. We now host a full house of active male residents.
Infrastructure Expansion
Designed and completed construction of The Deck—a grounded pontoon boat stage to host outdoor events, performances, and gatherings.
Event Execution & Public Engagement
Hosted our largest event to date: the July 4th Celebration in partnership with Lucid Productions & Waco EDM Scene.
Estimated firework contributions exceeded $1,000—spearheaded by Brothers Ryan & Jose.
The event solidified the Lodge as a premiere venue for community-centered cultural gatherings.
Creative & Artistic Development
Established the Freedom Lodge Community Art Wall—a public collaboration space featuring 4'x8' panels and rotating creative installations.
Held our first Open Mic Night, featuring regional artists Dustin Stewart and The Feral Hotel.
Ecological & Agricultural Advancements
Successfully rescued a wild beehive (July 7) as part of our ongoing ecological stewardship efforts.
Built and installed a functional greenhouse—donated and assembled by Brother Arron.
Planted two new fruit trees (Mulberry and Peach) to expand our edible landscape—special thanks to Sister Laura for the tree donation.
Mission Advancement & Institutional Visibility
Delivered a formal presentation on the Lodge's mission and model at Startup Waco, expanding our presence within Waco’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Initiated the development of a refined, purpose-driven mission statement.
Digital & Brand Development
Completed a comprehensive revamp of www.FreedomLodge.org.
Web traffic increased by 433% over the month of July.
Introduced a custom Freedom Lodge Jolly Roger flag design, to be featured in upcoming merchandise and branding initiatives.
Strategic Calendar & External Collaborations
Added over 20 new events to our Lodge calendar, including collaborations with:
Startup Waco
Texas Music Café
Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce
Baylor Research & Innovation Collaborative (BRIC)
Brotherwell Brewery
The Will Waco
Waco Open Mic, and more.
These events align with our focus on entrepreneurship, cultural arts, and creative development.
Cultural Transformation & Personal Development
A tangible shift in community culture is underway—marked by increased physical fitness, improved dietary habits, and greater levels of sobriety.
These improvements reflect both personal commitments and a shared evolution of Lodge ethos.
Program & Service Expansion
Official launch of Prosperity Wayfinder—our community engagement consulting service, now live as part of the 2025 Harvest Fundraising Campaign.
This offering positions us to serve local businesses while simultaneously raising capital for our mission.
Long-Term Vision & Capital Strategy
Completion of The Glorious Prospectus—a formalized three-phase strategy to fund and develop Shiloh Eco-Village, our 86-acre regenerative community vision- across the street from The Lodge
Groundbreaking is projected for mid-to-late 2026, pending successful fundraising milestones.
In Memoriam
We solemnly acknowledge the loss of two cherished animals this month:
Rose the Duck, a faithful companion of four years, disappeared on the evening of July 4th.
Luna the Kitten, returned with mysterious paralysis and was humanely laid to rest under the peach tree in late July.
Their passing deepens our devotion to this land and to the lives we steward upon it.

July stands as a milestone month in the development of the Spring Valley Freedom Lodge. We have strengthened our operational capacity, expanded our public presence, and advanced our long-term strategic vision with discipline and purpose.
These accomplishments are not accidental—they are the result of intentional leadership, aligned values, and the steadfast contributions of every individual who believes in the work we are doing. The Lodge is no longer in its infancy; it is entering a phase of structured growth and institutional maturity.
